Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist credential recognized in Illinois
• Previous experience in a school-based setting (K-8 preferred)
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to analyze data for the development of effective interventions
• Skilled at collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special education services
• Facilitate and participate in IEP/504 meetings, making recommendations for student supports
• Deliver individual and small group counseling targeting academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges
• Develop intervention plans and monitor student progress
• Work closely with staff and families to create positive classroom environments
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in school-wide initiatives to boost mental wellness
