Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid state credential or eligibility in School Psychology
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across different age groups
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Provide direct support and counseling to students as needed
- Promote a safe and supportive school climate at both junior high and kindergarten levels
- Consult with staff on best practices for supporting student mental health and learning
