What we're seeking:

  • Hold current Connecticut School Psychologist Certification
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting (elementary level experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
  • Ability to collaborate well with diverse staff, students, and families
  • Skilled in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting abilities
  • Committed to confidentiality and professional ethics

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Develop and monitor effective intervention plans
  • Deliver short-term counseling and crisis support as needed
  • Consult with teachers and families to promote student achievement and wellbeing
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and timely reporting
