This contract opportunity provides full-time work across various campuses, directly impacting student success within a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active NCDPI School Psychologist license (must be attached to your application)
- Proficiency in ECATS is required
- Previous experience in a school setting with PreK-12 caseloads is desirable
- Adept at consultation, counseling, and crisis response processes
- Strong interpersonal skills for conferencing with parents, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and offering staff training
Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultation and counseling services to students and staff
- Respond to crises and help address broad mental health needs throughout the district
- Hold parent conferences and communicate assessment findings
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations for students with suspected disabilities
- Provide training on relevant topics to teachers and staff
- Actively participate in multi-disciplinary district-level teams to enhance student outcomes
- Forge strong relationships with teachers, school personnel, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Manage a diverse PreK-12 caseload and perform other duties as directed by your supervisor
- Onsite presence required; telework is not available
