What you bring:
• Valid School Psychologist certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in Yiddish (bilingual required)
• Experience conducting psychological evaluations for students, especially for Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) age groups
• Strong, clear communication skills—both written and verbal
• Expertise in assessment, report writing, and collaboration with educational teams
• Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes across the K-12 age range
What you’ll do:
• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred through the CPSE
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports, completed during after school hours for optimal flexibility
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
• Provide insights and recommendations for individualized education plans
• Support a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive school environment
• Adapt strategies and interventions to meet the unique needs of each student
