You’ll conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, prepare detailed reports, and play a crucial role in shaping educational plans for students. The ability to communicate fluently in both Yiddish and English is essential to effectively serve a diverse student population.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
  • Bilingual proficiency in Yiddish and English
  • Experience with psychological evaluations and writing evaluation reports, especially for CPSE-aged students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological assessments and evaluations for students, focusing on early childhood (CPSE)
  • Develop clear, detailed evaluation reports and recommendations for educational programming
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student development and learning
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to IEP planning processes
  • Provide consultation and support for interventions as needed
