Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP/504 processes, and behavior intervention planning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills
- Ability to support students across a range of backgrounds and abilities
- Knowledge of current best practices in mental health and learning strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering recommendations based on data
- Provide counseling and direct interventions for students
- Support teachers and staff with strategies for classroom management and student engagement
- Partner with families to address student concerns and enhance academic and behavioral outcomes
- Maintain confidential records and comply with all state/federal regulations
