Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist or Public Health Psychologist
• Strong background in educational and developmental psychology, including experience working with children and adolescents
• Comprehensive knowledge of special education processes, including assessments and IEP development
• Ability to interpret evaluation results and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design interventions and support plans
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students, families, and school staff
• Assist educators with strategies for classroom management and promoting student mental health
• Analyze data to assess student progress and effectiveness of interventions
• Contribute to student support meetings, offering recommendations grounded in psychological best practices
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
