This contract opportunity seeks skilled, full-time School Psychologists to provide direct, on-site services in a diverse educational setting near Newark, Delaware from August 2026 through June 2027. You’ll be a valued resource for the Early Years Program and collaborate with dedicated staff and families to cultivate positive outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- Active DE Licensure (must be submitted with your application)
- Previous school-based psychology experience, especially across preschool, elementary, and high school levels
- Proficiency in administering psychoeducational assessments and generating evaluation reports
- Experience participating in IEP meetings as a supportive team member
- Comfort managing a varied caseload and flexibly supporting multiple grade levels
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Reliable transportation to work across multiple school sites if needed
- Willingness to complete Red Clay fingerprinting within the initial days of assignment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments and develop clear, actionable reports
- Engage in regular collaboration with educators, staff, and families to address student needs
- Take part in IEP meetings, offering expertise to shape effective, individualized plans
- Provide direct and ongoing support to students through intervention and consultation
- Adapt to a full-time, in-person schedule (37.5 hours/week) with an on-site presence only
