Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, consultation, and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret assessment data and provide actionable recommendations
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach with a commitment to equity and diversity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs through evaluation and observation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor interventions for student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create effective IEPs and student support plans
  • Support teachers and parents through consultative services and strategies for diverse learning needs
  • Promote positive social skills, resilience, and mental health in school communities
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state and federal regulations
