Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting student assessments for academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Proficiency with developing and recommending IEPs and intervention strategies
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for students
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as appropriate
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and guardians to recommend strategies that promote student well-being and success
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal requirements
  • Provide input into school-wide programs designed to improve student engagement and achievement
