Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting student assessments for academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Proficiency with developing and recommending IEPs and intervention strategies
- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for students
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as appropriate
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and guardians to recommend strategies that promote student well-being and success
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Provide input into school-wide programs designed to improve student engagement and achievement
