This full-time contract opportunity places you at the heart of a supportive team, where your insights and interventions will shape positive outcomes for young learners. You’ll primarily work with grade levels preschool through 4th grade, but have exposure to the entire P-8 range across four buildings, allowing for both focused and diverse experiences.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist (state credentials required)
- Experience in case management and individualized student planning
- Proficiency in counseling techniques with children ages 3-10
- Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and prevention strategies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and external agencies
- Strong organizational abilities to balance responsibilities across multiple sites
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, tracking progress and facilitating supports
- Providing direct counseling services to 2-8 students, based on individual needs and goals
- Conducting assessments and participating in child study teams to determine eligibility and recommend interventions
- Developing and monitoring IEPs and behavior plans in cooperation with teachers and families
- Supporting multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavioral interventions in classrooms
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment
