Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license (state-specific requirements apply)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience in educational settings, providing assessments, counseling, and interventions
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP process, and RTI/MTSS frameworks
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct psychological and educational assessments and develop recommendations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for testing
  • Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to educational teams and families
  • Develop and recommend appropriate academic and behavioral interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on eligibility and accommodations
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Deliver individual and group counseling as needed
  • Collaborate on crisis intervention and prevention programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
