Certified Licensed School Psychologist - Newell, North Carolina

You'll provide comprehensive psychological services and support a diverse K-12 caseload while working 37.5 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid NC licensure as a School Psychologist
• Certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience with evaluations and assessments in K-12 environments
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Knowledge of best practices for supporting a range of student needs
• Comfortable working with elementary, middle, and high school students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of psychological evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels (K-12)
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to develop appropriate intervention strategies
• Provide recommendations for educational planning and student supports
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise on student learning and behavior
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Help foster positive learning environments by offering guidance on mental health and behavioral interventions
