Step into an impactful contract role providing vital psychological services at both a middle and elementary school level for the upcoming academic year. You’ll support students and collaborate with faculty to foster positive educational outcomes and student well-being. This full-time position begins as early as August 3rd (latest start: August 24th), running through the second week of June, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week (8-hour days, 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in conducting psychological evaluations for school-aged children and adolescents
  • Proficient in Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and student counseling
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 60-80 psychological evaluations during the school year, focusing solely on psychological testing with no educational testing required
  • Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to inform interventions and support strategies
  • Provide counseling services to students as needed, promoting emotional and mental health
  • Participate in team meetings with educators, administrators, and families to discuss student progress and offer recommendations
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records, ensuring all documentation is compliant with school policies and state regulations
