Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia state license as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with K-12 populations; strong preference for candidates with elementary-level experience
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
- Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior plans
- Familiarity with IEP processes, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, academic, social, and emotional assessments for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational and behavioral goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized education programs
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as required
