Key Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia state license as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with K-12 populations; strong preference for candidates with elementary-level experience
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
  • Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior plans
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cognitive, academic, social, and emotional assessments for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational and behavioral goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized education programs
  • Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as required
  • Promote positive school climates and address factors affecting student learning
  • Maintain thorough records and document services in accordance with school and state guidelines
