Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
• Familiarity with comprehensive assessment tools and report writing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
• Ability to provide direct counseling and intervention services
• Knowledge of current practices in educational psychology and special education law
• Comfort navigating virtual and in-person service delivery as needed
• Dedication to fostering a safe, positive, and diverse learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
• Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop interventions and supports
• Assist in implementing school-wide initiatives that promote mental health and well-being
• Deliver training or resources for staff and families as appropriate
• Maintain confidential, accurate records and comply with applicable regulations
