Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in New York State
• Experience working within a high school or secondary education setting preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of special education laws and best practices
• Strong assessment, counseling, and reporting skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents/guardians
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to high school students as needed
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and behavioral interventions
• Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to address student concerns
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
