Provide comprehensive psychological services in educational settings while traveling to various schools within the Niagara Falls, NY area. This role focuses on assessing, evaluating, and supporting students’ mental health and learning needs to foster academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support student well-being
- Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations based on data and observations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert psychological insights
- Travel to multiple school locations within the region to deliver services directly in the educational environment
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings with children and adolescents
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage travel and maintain flexibility across various school assignments
