Work within a district-wide setting, collaborating with staff across various schools to provide high-quality psychological and counseling services for K-12 students. This onsite role, beginning August 3, 2026, and running through June 7, 2027, offers a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours, with flexibility in daily start and end times to fit your lifestyle.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) for the state of Indiana
- Graduate degree (Master’s or above) in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Previous experience supporting school-age children across K-12 preferred
- Strong understanding of special education procedures, interventions, and assessments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student and school needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and behavior assessments
- Develop and implement intervention plans and support students’ IEP goals
- Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions
- Provide crisis intervention and consult with staff on behavioral strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to academic planning
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding student mental health
