As a School Psychologist in this full-time, on-site contract, you'll play a vital role within a dedicated educational community, focusing on fostering students' well-being across a range of ages. This assignment begins August 31, 2026, and continues through June 15, 2027, providing a consistent schedule: Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week. While specific caseload details and school assignments are forthcoming, you'll join a team where your in-person expertise brings essential value—not open to remote or hybrid models.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE) licensure
  • Active Psychologist license
  • Prior experience working within school settings is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ unique needs
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Offer support and guidance to school staff and parents on student mental health and learning challenges
  • Contribute to developing positive, inclusive school environments
