School Psychologist - Norristown, Pennsylvania

Step into an impactful role as a School Psychologist supporting students for a 12-week leave coverage starting in January. Located within the Lansdale and Norristown areas, this contract opportunity centers on making a difference at a single elementary school, where your expertise fosters a positive and productive learning environment.

With the district’s flexible approach, you’ll enjoy a hybrid schedule—three days on campus and two days working virtually. Mondays are dedicated school-wide MTSS days and require your presence onsite, creating opportunities for meaningful collaboration.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Department of Education School Psychologist certification required
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist, especially in elementary settings, highly valued
• Comfort adapting between in-person and virtual service delivery
• Strong skills in consultation, assessment, and intervention planning
• Excellent communication and collaboration strengths with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments in alignment with state guidelines
• Consult with teachers and administrators to develop and implement student support strategies
• Deliver direct and indirect support to students, including crisis intervention and behavioral planning
• Participate in MTSS meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
• Provide resources and support for families and staff to foster student well-being
