School Psychologist in Norristown, PA

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by stepping into a full-time, 12-week contract position as a School Psychologist. Positioned at a supportive elementary school serving the Lansdale/Norristown, PA area, you'll provide expert psychological support beginning in January, covering a leave on a dedicated team. Enjoy work flexibility with a hybrid model—spend three days on-site, and two days working virtually. Please note: Mondays are in-person to align with the building’s MTSS day.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) School Psychologist certification required
• Background working with elementary school populations preferred
• Familiarity with MTSS processes and data-driven interventions
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Capacity to adapt between in-person and virtual service delivery
• Ability to manage assessments, consultations, and crisis response as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Participate in MTSS meetings and support student intervention planning
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies
• Provide individual and group counseling as required
• Deliver consultation services to staff regarding behavioral and academic needs
• Maintain sensitive student records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and legal standards
• Support prevention and crisis response initiatives within the school setting
