This contract opportunity focuses on supporting elementary-level students through evaluation, consultation, and counseling. The position offers a full-time schedule with a dynamic hybrid model—spend three days per week on campus (with Thursday as a required in-person day) and two days working virtually, allowing for flexibility and greater work-life balance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working in K-5 or elementary settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools and special education processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills
  • Familiarity with virtual platforms for remote assessment and meetings a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to develop appropriate interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings as a key interdisciplinary team member
  • Provide consultation and support for RtI/MTSS initiatives
  • Offer counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Help foster a positive learning environment and promote student well-being
