School Psychologist in Norristown, PA

This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with educators, families, and support teams to foster students’ academic, social, and emotional development. The position begins as soon as possible and runs through the first week of January 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Qualifications & Background:

• Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in Pennsylvania)
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desired
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Familiarity with special education procedures and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to ethical practice and student confidentiality

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Facilitating and participating in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Providing direct counseling and crisis intervention to students
• Consulting with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and interventions
• Helping design and implement strategies to support students’ academic and behavioral success
• Assisting with the development and monitoring of intervention plans
• Supporting the school’s efforts in promoting positive school climate and mental wellness
