To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 grade levels preferred
- Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Understanding of special education regulations and IEP processes
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and families on student needs and accommodations
- Interpreting evaluation results and contributing to IEP meetings
- Providing expert recommendations for educational planning
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records
