You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators, providing expert assessments and guidance. The assignment runs through mid-June, offering consistency throughout the school year.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active MSDE School Psychologist certification
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
  • Strong skills in counseling and behavior intervention
  • Familiarity with MTTS processes, IEPs, and 504 plans
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 70 evaluations plus ongoing counseling
  • Collaborative approach, open communication, and commitment to student success
  • Preferably available for in-person work
  • Proficiency in navigating virtual meeting platforms and digital student records

In This Role, You’ll:

  • Complete psychoeducational assessments for assigned students
  • Attend and contribute to MTTS, IEP, and 504 meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling as part of student support plans
  • Collaborate with staff and families to implement interventions
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation
  • Serve as a resource to staff on effective interventions and accommodations
  • Utilize a district-supplied laptop for seamless workflow
