School Psychologist - North Fort Myers, Florida

Bring your expertise in educational assessment and student support to a vibrant, growing community near North Fort Myers, FL! A respected local district is seeking three dedicated, full-time school psychologists to provide vital services across multiple school sites. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to serve a diverse student population and collaborate alongside caring educators and families.

As a valued contributor, you’ll play a key role in evaluating students, drafting comprehensive reports, and actively participating in IEP meetings, helping ensure each student’s individual needs are met. Work will span various age groups, and assignments may require an itinerant schedule, offering day-to-day variety and broad professional exposure.

What we’re looking for:

• Current, active FL Department of Health School Psychologist license (required)
• Demonstrated experience with educational assessments in a K-12 setting
• Strong report writing skills and attention to detail
• Previous school-based experience highly preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple school sites as needed

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting psychological and academic assessments
• Preparing clear, well-organized evaluation reports
• Attending and actively engaging in IEP meetings
• Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Contributing to actionable strategies to meet diverse learner needs

Interviews are anticipated to begin August 3. This contract runs from start date as soon as possible through the end of the school year in May 2027, offering a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.
