What We’re Looking For:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in preschool or early childhood education settings is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with special education procedures, including evaluation and eligibility processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate developmental, cognitive, and emotional needs of preschool-aged students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and recommendations to educators, administrators, and families regarding student supports
- Collaborate with the assessment team to ensure accurate and timely evaluations
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation adhering to state and district requirements
- Support positive outcomes by helping young learners access the resources they need for academic and emotional growth
