Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
- Current and valid certification or license as a School Psychologist in Nevada (or eligible for reciprocity)
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in school settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting data, and creating effective intervention strategies
- Excellent ability to collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student learning and mental health
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for academic, social-emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering recommendations and psychological expertise
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed to students and staff
- Serve as a resource to staff and families on matters related to mental health, special education, and student development
- Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
