School Psychologist | North Las Vegas, Nevada

Make an impact supporting students across K-12 classrooms as a dedicated School Psychologist for the full academic year. This contract-based, full-time opportunity will allow you to collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to nurture student growth and development. Located near North Las Vegas, NV, you'll work with an engaged school community invested in providing comprehensive mental health and educational support.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/license (or eligibility) in Nevada
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
• Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEP processes, and special education compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable providing crisis intervention and behavioral consultation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred by school staff or families
• Develop and help implement intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, or social-emotional needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and provide recommendations based on student data
• Offer individual and group counseling to support student well-being
• Consult with teachers and parents on interventions and resources to enhance learning environments
• Provide crisis response and support as needed throughout the school community
