Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid certification or license as a School Psychologist in Nevada (or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Previous experience supporting K-12 students in school settings strongly preferred
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting data, and creating effective intervention strategies
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student learning and mental health
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for academic, social-emotional, or behavioral concerns
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering recommendations and psychological expertise
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed to students and staff
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families on matters related to mental health, special education, and student development
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
