This contract opportunity, starting August 10, 2026, and running through May 21, 2027, is perfect for certified professionals passionate about supporting the educational and emotional needs of children.
As an itinerant staff member, you will contribute to a dynamic educational community, offering services spanning five schools and focusing on evaluations and direct support related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairment (OHI), including ADHD assessments. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators and families to implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
What we’re seeking:
- Valid License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologist
- Experience working in a school setting, ideally with elementary and middle school caseloads
- Knowledge in AU, ED, OHI assessment and intervention, including experience with FBAs/BIPs
- Flexibility and organizational skills to travel between five campuses
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a strong plus
- Commitment to working fully on-site—virtual arrangements are not available for this role
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement effective interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate actively in IEP and other relevant meetings
- Promote positive outcomes for students on your caseload
