Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, and interpreting data
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and processes
- Excellent collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with diverse student needs and ability to create tailored supports
- Flexibility to meet the changing needs of a school community
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to improve student outcomes
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling and intervention services
- Participate in special education eligibility determination meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and adhere to all confidentiality requirements
- Offer guidance and professional development to school staff on mental health best practices
