A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a positive impact within an educational setting, helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The role runs from 7:30 am to 2:20 pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours each week.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and educational assessment
  • Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP, 504, and CSE processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to provide both group and individual counseling

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess student needs and inform educational planning
  • Participate in CSE and 504 meetings as a valued member of the student support team
  • Offer direct counseling services to students, providing both preventative and intervention support
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to promote student well-being and academic achievement
  • Support the ongoing development and implementation of instructional support initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
