Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by providing expert support in special education assessment and collaboration. As a School Psychologist, you will work onsite supporting evaluations and interventions across three school buildings. Your expertise will guide students, families, and school teams in addressing student learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.

Work hours for this contract position are Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM. You’ll join a cooperative and professional environment, focusing on making a difference for students who need you most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret data and design interventions
  • Navigate and ensure compliance with special education laws and guidelines
  • Attend monthly team meetings for interdisciplinary collaboration and problem-solving
  • Report directly to the district supervisor to coordinate services and priorities across three schools

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana School Psychologist license
  • Prior experience administering assessments and determining eligibility for special education services is advantageous
  • Thorough knowledge of special education law, federal and state compliance, and procedural safeguards
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to the diverse needs found across multiple school buildings
