A full-time school psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year to serve a supervisory union encompassing Kindergarten through 12th grade students. This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining in-person responsibilities with remote tasks for flexibility.
Location:
- Northfield, Vermont
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive assessments and evaluations for moderate autism and other special education needs.
- Administer individualized testing, observations, and participate in meetings for complex cases.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student development and academic success.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation in compliance with Vermont Special Education laws and guidelines.
- Provide psychological services across the entire supervisory union spanning multiple schools.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a school psychologist.
- Strong understanding of Vermont Special Education laws.
- Expertise in cognitive and autism assessments.
- Comfortable working in both in-person and remote settings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
