Make an impact supporting students across K-12 through comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, intervention planning, and consultation services for the upcoming full school year. This contract opportunity offers exposure to a diverse student body and the chance to collaborate district-wide (K-12). At this time, responsibilities do not include PreK assessments, allowing you to focus on the core K-12 population.
Ideal candidates bring a passion for empowering students’ success and are ready to play a pivotal consulting role throughout the district. New graduates and candidates pursuing licensure over the summer are welcome to share their interest, as flexibility exists for those with Ohio credentials in progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid (or eligibility for) Ohio School Psychologist licensure; recent or upcoming graduates awaiting licensure are encouraged to apply.
- Proven skills in conducting psycho-educational assessments for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Knowledge in developing intervention plans and delivering effective consultation to educational teams, students, and families.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in working across multiple buildings and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to inform student support plans.
- Consult with school staff and families regarding assessment results and intervention recommendations.
- Develop data-driven interventions tailored to varied student needs.
- Participate in team meetings across the district to support positive student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines.
This is a full-time position for the complete school year, providing valuable professional experience with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
