Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Holds valid certification and necessary state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience performing psychological and academic assessments within a school context
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral and mental health interventions
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ needs
  • Interpret assessment data and present findings to educators, families, and support teams
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed to support student well-being
  • Advise on strategies and interventions to promote positive behavioral and academic outcomes
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other relevant meetings to advocate for student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal standards
