This contract opportunity offers a flexible, dynamic setting—full time (32.5 hours per week) with options to accommodate those seeking part-time schedules. You'll be a valued member of a dedicated assessment team, conducting evaluations on a regular basis. A Connecticut certification is required, but applicants with pending certification are encouraged to apply and will be considered. Bilingual (Spanish) professionals are highly desired, but experience working with interpreters is also welcomed.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid or pending Connecticut School Psychologist certification
- Experience in school-based psychoeducational evaluations
- Ability to thrive in diverse educational environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred; or experience utilizing interpreters in evaluations
- Commitment to in-person work, with potential for hybrid participation if needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for early childhood and K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams to support student success
- Provide consultation and recommendations based on evaluation results
- Be available for assignments across various school programs in the area
