School Psychologist - Norwalk, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification required (open to candidates with pending certifications)
• In-person availability for 32.5 hours per week throughout the school year
• Proven experience or strong interest in conducting regular student evaluations and assessments
• Solid understanding of current best practices in special education, MTSS/RTI, and behavioral intervention
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative, student-centered approach
• Well-versed in developing and reviewing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with diverse student populations and a commitment to fostering equity and inclusion

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and ensure timely completion of evaluations
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings, offering recommendations grounded in psychoeducational data
• Provide consultation and support to school staff and families regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and refine interventions
• Support school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing student resilience, mental health, and learning environments
