School Psychologist - Norwich, Connecticut

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking a contract position for the upcoming academic year. With a Monday through Friday schedule from 9AM to 3PM, you’ll work 30 hours a week, supporting a PreK-8th grade caseload in a positive, collaborative environment. This position runs from August 26th through June 10th, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students spanning PreK through 8th grade
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing
• Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
• Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology
• Valid 070 School Psychologist Licensure for Connecticut
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Experience with IEP writing, counseling, and testing
