Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut school psychologist certification required
  • Proven experience conducting evaluations and assessments in an educational setting
  • Ability to interpret data and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations
  • Enthusiastic, organized, and committed to advocating for students’ diverse needs

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students as needed
  • Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings, communicating findings and collaborating on educational planning
  • Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and implement support strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activities and reports
  • Contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams focused on student well-being
