Step into a vital role supporting the academic and emotional well-being of K-12 students in a welcoming, small district of approximately 1,100 learners. This contract opportunity is perfect for a school psychologist ready for a full-time position for the upcoming school year (FT NSY). You'll work across four buildings, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a meaningful difference in varied school environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEPs, and special education processes
  • Effective communication skills with students, families, and educators
  • Ability to be flexible and organized across multiple school sites

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as appropriate
  • Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Assist with crisis intervention and serve as a resource for mental health and behavioral interventions
  • Consult with staff and offer trainings on a variety of topics related to student success
