This contract opportunity is perfect for a school psychologist ready for a full-time position for the upcoming school year (FT NSY). You'll work across four buildings, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a meaningful difference in varied school environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEPs, and special education processes
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and educators
- Ability to be flexible and organized across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as appropriate
- Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Assist with crisis intervention and serve as a resource for mental health and behavioral interventions
- Consult with staff and offer trainings on a variety of topics related to student success
