This full-time, on-site position runs from August 17th and offers the chance to work closely with dedicated teams at two elementary schools. You’ll engage with a broad caseload focusing on students with varied behavioral support needs, including three Autistic Support Classrooms and two Emotional Support Classrooms.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Experience with school-aged children, ideally in elementary settings
- Demonstrated knowledge of functional assessments and behavioral evaluations
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary staff and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional assessments and behavioral evaluations for students across elementary sites
- Develop and oversee individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Coordinate services and schedules between multiple classrooms and staff
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and plan outcomes with educators and families
- Monitor effectiveness of interventions, adjusting strategies to promote student growth
- Serve as a resource for Applied Behavior Analysis practices, supporting both teachers and students
