Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving elementary and PreK-8th grade students in the Oak Lawn, IL, area and surrounding communities. With a start date of August 18th and concluding around June 4th (allowing for possible extension due to emergency days), you'll have a rewarding full-time schedule supporting a manageable caseload of approximately 180 students, shared with another experienced psychologist.

As a valued member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster student well-being and academic success. Daily hours offer some flexibility, with options from 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 7:30 am–3:30 pm. This position is ideal for those who already have practical experience in school psychology and are ready to continue making a substantial impact—please note, this role does not accept new graduates.

What you’ll need:

  • Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Demonstrated school psychology experience—minimum of one year preferred
  • A track record of effectively supporting elementary and PreK-8th grade populations
  • Strong evaluation, reporting, and consultation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Develop, implement, and monitor interventions and data collection
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of IEPs
  • Consult with staff and families to promote student growth
