Your expertise will be key in managing re-evaluations due during the year and addressing additional assessments as requested by teachers or parents. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification or eligibility as a school psychologist
  • Prior experience working in school settings, especially with special education
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with compliance, evaluation, and re-evaluation procedures in special education

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret assessments for initial and re-evaluations of the SPED caseload
  • Complete required documentation within established timelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services
  • Respond to evaluation requests throughout the school year as individual needs arise
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings, providing actionable recommendations
  • Support a positive and inclusive educational environment for all students
