An opportunity exists for a skilled professional dedicated to supporting the educational and emotional needs of students in an elementary school setting. This position offers a unique hybrid model, allowing for both in-person and virtual interaction with students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid school psychologist license or certification
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff
  • Knowledge of educational policies and best practices in mental health

Location:

  • Oakland, California

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct services, including counseling and support, to students
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment
  • Conduct follow-up meetings with parents and staff regarding student progress
  • Utilize a hybrid model to enhance student engagement and support
