Key Qualifications:

  • Hold (or be eligible for) a valid California School Psychologist credential
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with psychological assessments, IEPs, and behavioral interventions in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of state and federal special education laws and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a diverse school community

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and present findings to IEP teams
  • Provide crisis intervention strategies and counseling services as needed
  • Support the development and review of IEPs, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and direct services to students
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance student outcomes
  • Promote a safe, inclusive school climate and uphold best practices in school psychology
  • Document service delivery and maintain accurate, confidential records
