Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or related field)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for School Psychologist certification in Mississippi
• Previous experience in a school setting, preferred but not required
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
• Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student needs and interventions
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic development
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with regulations
• Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
• Recommend evidence-based strategies to address learning and behavioral challenges
• Advocate for students’ needs within the educational system
