Required Skills and Experience:
- Active Wisconsin School Psychologist Certification or a valid Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential
- Background in services typically provided in a school setting, such as assessments, counseling, and intervention planning
- Understanding of best practices related to supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of elementary-age children
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and assessments as part of special education eligibility processes
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address students’ academic, behavioral, or social-emotional needs
- Provide consultation and guidance to educators and families on student support strategies and interventions
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide input to ensure appropriate services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
