This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite, providing critical assistance in behavioral interventions and supporting staff in creating positive learning environments across two sites.
We are searching for someone with substantial experience as a school psychologist or school social worker, especially with developing effective behavior plans and assisting educators in managing student behaviors. This is your chance to contribute directly to student success and provide both pre-referral and evaluative services in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current credentials as a school psychologist or school social worker
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing behavior plans
- Experience supporting staff and students in elementary settings
- Familiarity with providing both pre-referral interventions and assessments
- Ability to adapt to working at multiple school sites as needed
- Clear communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Guide and collaborate with educators to support classroom management and intervention strategies
- Deliver pre-referral consultations and evaluative services for students
- Liaise with families and staff to ensure a continuum of care and support
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies
- Provide training or resources to staff as required
