Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives in a contract position focused on supporting youth with intensive social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This opportunity centers on providing trauma-informed behavioral and mental health services within a comprehensive Promising Students Program. Utilize your expertise to help students develop essential skills and overcome barriers to academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small-group counseling, fostering healthy emotional development
• Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments and behavioral evaluations for targeted students
• Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and help craft effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Support early intervention initiatives, assist with MTSS implementation, and use data-driven practices to maximize student outcomes
• Consult collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and families to inform and strengthen intervention strategies
• Participate actively in IEP and Section 504 meetings, advocating for student needs and aligning supports accordingly
• Assist with crisis response, safety planning, and contribute to the creation of safe, supportive learning environments
• Develop and guide transition plans for students returning to their home schools, ensuring continued growth and successful reintegration

Desired Experience & Skills:

• Credentialed School Psychologist with strong background in behavioral interventions and trauma-informed practices
• Experience with FBA, BIP development, and psychoeducational evaluations
• Skilled in individual and group counseling, with the capacity to respond to crisis and safety needs
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external partners
• Commitment to early intervention, inclusive education, and evidence-based practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
