An opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide valuable psychological services within an educational setting located in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves delivering assessment, consultation, and intervention services that support the well-being and academic success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs and inform educational planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Travel locally as required to support multiple school sites.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Strong knowledge of child development, psychological assessment, and intervention techniques.
- Experience working in school-based environments preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to travel between schools as assigned.
