Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services! We are seeking skilled, compassionate school psychologists to work with K-12 students with intense disabilities. This is a contract-based position for the 2026-2027 academic year, with opportunities to serve students from August through May. Situated in a welcoming district near Olathe, Kansas, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to help students succeed both academically and socially.

Your expertise will focus on conducting evaluations for students who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Flexibility is key, as there may be some travel between school campuses to best serve student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state license and certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field)
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Demonstrated ability to support students with significant disabilities, including those who are non-verbal or communicate via AT/AAC devices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel between school sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cognitive, academic, behavioral, and adaptive assessments
  • Interpret data and provide comprehensive reports to IEP teams
  • Work closely with special educators, therapists, and families to develop personalized student support plans
  • Serve schools across the K-12 spectrum; caseload details will be discussed during the interview
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal and ethical standards in school psychology
